Bob Ross Is Making A Happy Little Comeback At Public Library Paint Nights

It's been more than two decades since iconic painter Bob Ross convinced TV viewers to paint along with him as he chatted and philosophized in his soothing, encouraging voice.
 
Now, libraries around the country are tapping into the phenomenon, holding paint-along evenings where patrons watch Bob Ross episodes and re-create his art. The evenings are such a hit that libraries are creating wait lists and adding more sessions.
 
Here & Now's Robin Young talks with Sarah Burris, who's organizing Bob Ross events for the Northwest Regional Library system in Panama City, Florida. "We've had patrons come in with the Bob Ross T-shirts and the wig," Burris says.
