A handful of incredible artists have been chosen by The Kennedy Center as esteemed Honorees for the 43rd class and will be celebrated for their cultural contributions in a two-hour special set to air on Sunday, June 6 at 8/7c on CBS.
The 2021 Kennedy Center Honorees include multi-disciplinary artist and choreographer Debbie Allen, singer/songwriter and activist Joan Baez, country singer/songwriter Garth Brooks, violinist Midori, and actor Dick Van Dyke.
“The Kennedy Center Honors serves as a moment to celebrate the remarkable artists who have spent their lives elevating the cultural history of our nation and world,” said Kennedy Center Chairman David M. Rubenstein.
