I remember meeting Bill Szymczyk several times at his recording studio “Bayshore Studios” in Coconut Grove, FL. He used Ampex 456 audio mastering tape and was nice to me. His studio manager was a woman from Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village, New York City. Electric Lady Studios was commissioned by Jimi Hendrix in 1968 and designed by architect John Storyk and audio engineer Eddie Kramer by 1970.
