Google puts an end to 85 malicious Android apps

Google has permanently removed 85 Android apps from the Google Play Store after mobile threat response engineer Ecular Xu found that Android handset users were lured to download apps masquerading as photography utilities and games. Once installed, the apps pushed advertisements that were difficult to close and that hampered smartphone functionality
