Tanning with baby oil in the days before we knew much.
The 1970s were an era of living dangerously, when we rode in cars without seat belts, took bike rides without benefit of a helmet, before airbags, before nutrition labeling and before surgeon general warnings. Before anyone knew what ultraviolet rays were not healthy.
