Industrial design is a process of design applied to physical products that are to be manufactured by mass production. It is the creative act of determining and defining a product’s form and features, which takes place in advance of the manufacture or production of the product.

APPLE Computers: Steve Jobs (born 1955) was about 9 years old when VOX hit the scene. Jobs was influenced for decades. He even named his startup “Apple” During that period music, art and design were a huge influence. 

DYSON: James Dyson (born 1947, Cromer, UK) was about 17 years old when VOX hit the scene. 

Dyson’s products combine effectiveness and design. Is there a genuine desire to create beautiful objects. This philosophy is carried through to all of Dyson’s categories of products: fans, heaters, hand dryers and hand-dryer faucets.
