Arizona became a state 106 years ago today.

Oregon became 33rd state (159 years ago)
Arizona became 48th state (106 years ago)
Arizona, the Grand Canyon state, achieved statehood on February 14, 1912, the last of the 48 coterminous United States to be admitted to the union. Originally part of New Mexico, the land was ceded to the United States in 1848, and became a separate territory in 1863. Copper was discovered in 1854, and copper mining was Arizona’s premier industry until the 1950s. After World War II, the widespread availability of refrigeration and air conditioning caused Arizona’s population to boom and Phoenix to become one of the fastest growing cities in America. Arizona is the sixth largest state in the country in terms of area. Its population has always been predominantly urban, particularly since the mid-20th century, when urban and suburban areas began growing rapidly at the expense of the countryside.

Internally at Apple their Watch is consistently playing second (or third) fiddle to the iPhone in terms of public attention, the evidence suggesting that Apple has yet another hit product on its hands is piling up.

According to estimates by market research firm Canalys, the Apple Watch had its best quarter ever in Q4 2017. Driven by the release of the Series 3 model including (optional) LTE support, Apple shipped 8 million watches between October and December, bringing its total for the year to more than 18 million units.

As our chart illustrates, that puts Apple ahead of the entire Swiss watch industry (think Rolex, Swatch etc.) for the quarter, supporting the company’s claims that the Apple Watch became the top-selling watch in the world some time in 2017."

Marketing Action Plans

The Marketing Action Plans is a 365-days-a-year resource tool. It’s not the kind of book that sits on your bookshelf at home; rather you should keep it with you at work at all times. Everything in this book is for real-world survival; individual documents, processes, procedures and full plans.

All of us have had, or will have, a boss demand a full Public Relations, Marketing and/or Online plan on his desk in less than a week. This is impossible to do from scratch; however, with the Marketing Action Plans you will able to use between 50% to 80% of each document and template included.

Simply insert your company name and products where asked. Yes, you will need some customization to fit your organization, but having a substantial part of your plan, layout and content provided will permit you to do two things: Focus on what is really important and meet your unrealistic deadlines.

Also, after decades of experience I can personally attest that having a process and check-off forms dramatically speeds up your entire department. It will synchronize everyone in or outside of your marketing department. It usually takes years to develop a complete set of fully fleshed-out procedure lists. But now you, simply by reading this book, have virtually everything you need.
